I love coffee table books and just being able to sit and flick through them, and dream of how they will fit into my flat in October. Sadly, this is currently taking place during revision books. I know have 3 coffee table books, so only need to purchase 2 more in the next year to complete number 93 on my 101 list.
How pretty do the books look together?
Emily Schuman is the creator of Cupcakes and Cashmere, which is one of the first blogs I ever started following, back in 2008. Her first book, is divided into seasons and teaches everything from makeup to food to clothes to entertaining ideas. The book is a lovely mix of fashion, home and food photos.
Oh Kate Spade, one of my favourite designers. Having seen the brand on various blogs, I was beyond excited when they opened up in Dubai. My Mum used to take any route between shops that avoided me wandering in to Kate Spade! I adore the brand and all the accessories and clothing and catch-phrase. Namely, “Eat Cake for Breakfast.” The book itself is amazing to look at, so colourful as you would expect, with gold lined pages. Even the cover photo is filled with coffee table books!
As would made clear in all my Prague posts, I fell in love with Europe. Having never done a city-break before, I am now truly converted to the idea. This book gives the perfect quick stop guide to major european cities which I want to visit, including Barcelona, Paris, Venice. A great book to help gauge what to do, if I get the chance to visit any of the cities. Also perfect for having wander-lust dreams when it’s raining outside!
My love of books and reading is pretty clear on the blog, but books like this are a great birthday, graduation or moving in gift! My parents have a huge collection of both different country and boat books which I grew up reading.
