This read is nothing short of inspiring, and puts my half marathon goal to shame. It is remarkable what the human body can do, whether it’s running 13 miles like I’m training for, or the 50-100+ miles in an ultra-marathon, with or without trainers depending on the athlete. As cliche as it sounds, the book does make me want to fall in love with running. I love running but to often, its for a specific goal or time, as opposed to just going out for however how long I feel like it.
With my recent obsession of chia seeds being added to any breakfast item, it was definitely interesting hearing that the Mexican Indian tribe, the Tarahumara have been using the seed in there diet for years.
