Wow, just wow. This book is incredible. Cheryl Strayed hiked the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail), which is a 1,100 mile hike to find herself. In my opinion, that’s impressive. I did Duke of Edinburgh which was 4 days of hiking and that was bad enough for me.
I loved this book, it was honest and sobering. I get stressed out over my makeup and here is a true story of someone having 2p to their name and broken shoes with blistered feet. Cheryl writes the book in a humorous manner and you are willing her to the finish line and continually finish a chapter hoping she is ok after the next day.
Unsurprisingly, the book has been turned into a critically acclaimed film with Reese Wetherspoon as the lead. Definitely going to watch the film now.
