Who doesn’t love a good crime novel? Having read predominantly non-fiction books, vastly relating to success and successful females I decided to switch back to my beloved crime books. I love a John Grisham, but fancied a change. Closer than blood did not disappoint.
The story jumps between twins and time frames which can be confusing. However, I loved the recurring theme about a big jump, that causes kids to feel like there on a roller coaster when their parents drive to fast. I can think of a fair few spots that my Dad used to do this in Scotland.
By the end of the book I was really having to focus on which character was which! Loved the book, going to be reading more of Gregg Olsen’s books.
Anyone have any crime novel suggestions?
