My Saturday mornings have got into an oddly healthy routine, 8.30am 24 class. 24 sounds like such a short exercise period, but let me tell you 24 minutes of HIT, squats, squat jumps, burpees, push-ups, lunges is definitely tiring. After 24 I like to treat myself with breakfast. The west end of Glasgow is filled with cafe’s, a new favourite is Siempre on Dumbarton Road. I frequently walk passed this place and it’s full of cyclists both pre and post their cycles, so I figured that they would not mind me in my gym gear.
The cafe is covered in cycling stuff, from paintings of the infamous yellow jersey to a workshop filled with all the spanners and gears a bike would ever need.
I don’t even cycle, but the kit selection is awesome. I love the simplicity of the tables, quite simply planks of wood.
My breakfast of choice – long black coffee, avocado, salmon on rye bread.
