After years of walking past the Le Creuset section of John Lewis and pining after everything, I finally bit the bullet! Mum and Dad gave me a set of 2 small ramekin dishes, perfect for individual portions with a tag reading “hope this helps start the collection.”
You can see just how small the tiny casserole pots are in comparison to the massive one!
I cannot wait to start cooking lasagne or moussaka in the pie dish, a tiny chicken pie in the little casserole or might try my hand at chocolate souffle. The large casserole is going to be great for stews and pasta bakes. Now that I have started my collection I have set my sights on a few new items – the soup bowls and a utensil jar, in teal obviously!
Any recipe suggestions? Is the Le Creuset cookbook worth purchasing?
