The annual SuperBowl Sunday with my boyfriend’s house required each guest to bring some food. The boys all stuck to classics such as chilli, quesadillas, nachos and potato skins. My offering was for those with a sweet tooth, oreo cake pops. Quite simply, oreos dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles.
Ingredients: Oreos, White Chocolate, Skewers, Sprinkles.
Twist open the oreos.
As it was an American Holiday, Joe and Ben made an American flag out of oreos.
Add some glue – melted white chocolate to both sides of the oreo and place a skewer in the middle.
Close the oreo and wait for the chocolate glue to set, then cover the oreos in white chocolate.
Dip either side into the sprinkles then leave to set.
So simple, and tasty!
A great alterntive to cake or cupcakes. For a Valentine’s day twist, use heart shaped sprinkles.
{Top Tip: We found the white chocolate did not set fully in the centre, try adding some icing sugar to make it a bit more glue like!}
