A pretty pink drink with gin? Count me in. A classic Tom Collins with a Raspberry twist, or a Raspberry Tom Collins.
I’ve had this Gin Manual for a few years. A great way to look up a bit more about a gin, as well as suited garnishes and mixers.
I decided to use Botanist as the base gin for Raspberry Tom Collins.
- 50 ml gin
- 25ml sugar syrup
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Soda water
- Mint leaves
A Raspberry Tom Collins really is a super easy classic drink. More of a tall mixed drink, then a shake and pour cocktail. Best served, unsurprisingly, in a tall glass with a straw.
A Tom Collins is the same as the raspberry version, just minus the raspberries!
- Muddle your raspberries and sugar syrup, to create a raspberry syrup
- Pour in your gin, stir
- Add in lemon juice, stir
- Add ice
- Top with soda water, stir
- Garnish with mint and raspberries
