The end of June and start of July will always make me think of Wimbledon, lazy summer evenings spent watching the tennis and drinking Pimm’s. This cocktail could not be any simpler or easy to make, it is literally the alcohol, lemonade and fruit. However, according to The Times, Wimbledon have not been making it to the correct ratio! It should be 1 part Pimm’s to 3 parts of the mixer.
The pitcher I made was slightly different to the normal recipe, I used some passion fruit juice and sprite instead of lemonade.
Cut your lemons.
Add the lemons and mint to the jug.
Chop your oranges.
Now chop the strawberries.
You will now have a rainbow of fruit in your jug. Other popular additions are cucumber, limes, raspberries.
I added enough passion fruit juice to cover around half of the fruit.
Add your Pimm’s, mixer and stir.
Enjoy whilst watching the tennis.
Do you have any other ideas for a Pimm’s variation?
