It’s warmer in Scotland, which makes it iced coffee weather. Okay, it’s not that warm at all, but living in Dubai for years, I craved an iced coffee at the first hint of sunshine. Of late, I really have been focusing on my health and at the gym I am switching from cardio to weights, hello squats. This has resulted in me bulking and not sulking and having plenty of protein powder.
Thus resulting in a genius idea, protein iced coffee. Having been inspired by The Londoner’s Iced Lattes. So first step, make a strong pot of coffee and allow to cool.
Freeze in ice-trays.
Now when you want your coffee, place 2-4 ice-cubes in your choosen tumbler.
Mix your milk with your chosen protein powder.
Pour the milk over the ice-cubes and there you have it, protein iced coffee. You could also carry the ice-cubes and milk in the shaker and add the protein for a more on-the go solution.
