These Ankle Boots are Made for Walking

Black ankle boots have become a bit of a uniform for me, whether tucked into jeans, or with tights and skirt. So I was a little bit upset when I came home one night to a soggy foot. Turns out the seams had separated on the sole, after three years of wear. As if by magic, M&S had an offer for 20% of boots.

A quick click and collect later and I am now back to having some black ankle boots. Naturally with there being a sale on, it made sense to buy two pairs. A more sensible pair of black ankle boots and a much higher block heel. Super boring observation, but on first wear of the shorter ankle boots, I had no blisters or rubbing and didn’t have to wear multiple pair of socks. It was nice just being able to wear the boots without planning a footwear change. If you have ever got blisters from new leather shoes, you will feel my pain!
