1000 miles – eleven months in

1000-miles-11-months-in

After last month and achieving my 1000 miles for the year, November was a bit hit and miss. I managed to get a 10KM PB at Run with the Wind, but I also struggled to be motivated at all, as can be seen below. So it was a low mileage month, swings and roundabouts overall!

The month did start strong, say hello to my brand new teal Nike Odysseys. My one piece of advice, once you find a pair of shoes you like, buy them when you see them on sale. I’ve had this pair sitting in the box since August, waiting to run the mileage on my old pair!

I did get a 46:17 10km pb. PB means presents. Presents in the form of yet more running kit. I love the Nike Outlets in Glasgow and treated myself to these Nike Flash tights. Apart from the weekends, it’s now always dark whenever I run. So just being safe!

The last race of the season, was another 10km. Jimmy Irvine’s around Bellahouston Park. A downhill but freezing race!

Another “excuse” for my lack of running, freezing conditions. I’m not sure who upset Elsa so much but it was freezing for a couple of days here in Glasgow. By freezing, I mean never reaching 0C. So running turned into a form of ice skating/running like bambi!

One more month of 2016 left. 1000 miles well and truely done. Still trying to get to 2016km.

Any suggestions for running goals for 2017?
