1000 miles, three months in.

March was an odd month. I very much lost my running mojo. My swollen ankle was really sore and swollen for the first half of the month as evidenced below. Having said that I did manage 75 miles for the month, bringing my yearly total to 300 miles.

Hello gorgeous sunset runs. Even better that they aren’t until 8pm with the recent time change.

I ran my 2nd half marathon at Alloa and was stoked with the time. My watch 1:47:59, my official time 1:47:57, taking 5:36 off my last time. This was a tough half, it’s hilly. Like really hilly. Everyone talks about the hill around mile 11. I may or may not have sworn when I saw the extent of it.

PBs all around. The best bit about running is watching everyone push themselves and succeed. I train with these two on a weekly basis, both there times give me inspiration to push harder, get stronger and be faster!

My first ever indoor track session. A 200m track that’s inside Emirates Arena. The gradient and bouncy texture made for a nice change from pavement pounding. However, my legs were not happy with that amount of sprinting!

Sunny evenings make for the return of my all time favourite running route, from Whiteinch along the old railway path. With lovely views to boot!

Rainbow runs make it all worth it! If I see something pretty, I will pretty much always stop to picture it!
