So that’s February done and dusted and with that, a massive 140.3 miles run. My month started off really strong with 8 miles on a Tuesday, a similar length run on a Friday and a 10+ miler run on Sunday. With running and setting goals you have to be realistic, something I am not good at. I had really hoped for 150 miles, but with a swollen ankle and not enough rest days it just wasn’t feasible. Having said that, I’ve now done 240.4 miles this year in total! So I will hopefully surpass the 1000 mile goal.
This month saw the return of the longer evenings e.g. its not dark at 5pm sharp anymore! So the dark lonely view of the squinty bridge can hopefully be forgotten about for awhile.
Dressed as always like a human neon highlighter, what better way to spend a Friday night?!
Foam rolling and I are not friends. Going to start spending at least 5-10 minutes a day foam rolling properly.
Getting towards my target of running a 15-20 miles. Managed to run 14 miles on Valentine’s Day. A gorgeous run in the sun!
I’ve booked with 2 friends to run the Disney Paris Half. I could not be MORE excited. I am running it as buzz lightyear.
Lighter evenings make Glasgow look oh so pretty.
Being at home means plenty of farm tracks, fields and mud.
