Tim Hortons Glasgow, a place for all your timbits, and iced coffee dreams to come true! The Canadian brand has finally ventured into UK soil. Luckily for us here in Glasgow, they choose to set up shop at the bottom of Union St. Which is dangerously close to my office and the train station…
Tim Hortons has it all from coffee, whether hot or iced, breakfast bagels, sandwiches, wraps, soups.
Not forgetting the all important baked goods and the most important of all. TimBits, aka donut holes. In a variety of flavours, from old-fashioned (plain and glazed), birthday cake, chocolate glazed and jam infused! You can buy these as an individual one (if you just want something small), but realistically it would be a box of 10 or 20!
I am an Expat Brat, despite not being an expat anymore. One such trait I still have is a love of Iced Coffee. I find it really refreshing, even on the coldest of winter days. This Iced Cappuccino might be my new favourite drink, goodbye old iced caramel machiatto… It is quite milkshake like in consistency, but with plenty of caffeine that will give you quite a buzz. I can definitely see this becoming a weekly treat.
Donut holes in my family are a bit of a family tradition, tracing back to days spent in Sugarland. Mum, I promise to bring up a 20pack variety box in a few weeks!
Naturally my favourite Tim Horton’s good was the picture perfect Birthday Cake Timbit, complete with glazed icing and sprinkles.
Tim Hortons’ opens today and I expect it to be very busy. From Saturday onwards they will be open from 6am-midnight, so plenty of time to grab some coffee and a Timbit or 2.
