Nailed it.

Nailed It.

I noticed after having a manicure over Easter that my nails were a state. The polish started chipping within 2 days and my nails were brittle and horrible. I have to admit it is my own fault. I started to get Shellac nails, which I love and swear by but did not pay to get them taken off. I just chipped away at the polish, in the process destroying my nails.

So I promised myself and my Mum that I wouldn’t wear any polish of any form until after exams and I would file my nails and put cream on them. I’ve gone 2 weeks now and my nails couldn’t look any better.

My secret nail weapons:

1. OPI Avoplex High Intensity Hand & Nail Cream

2. Models Own 4 Way Nail Buffer

3. Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream

I bought the OPI cream in duty free when I flew to Prague, and stole the Clarins from my Mum! Both are great hand creams, I try and apply morning, afternoon and night. I always have one in my bag, so it can be used anytime.

The nail buffer, is a great procrastination tool from uni work. I try and do my nails twice a week when watching TV.

Do you have any other tips for keeping nails looking healthy?
