I used to be a bit of a cardio gym bunny, countless hours spent spinning and sweating with no real results. Apart from being hungry constantly, since moving to Glasgow I have decided to take fitspiration from Millie Mackintosh with her #strongnotskinny campaign and The Skinny Bitch Collective. I’ve started to change my gym routine and I still spin about 3 times a week, but I have started adding resistance and weight training. Which previously was completely alien and scary to me. The TIYR and TRX equipment are current favourites and great for de-stressing. After about a month of using this regime I am already feeling more toned and confident.
I also love the This Girl Can campaign from Sport England, a great motivator for all shapes and sizes!
