Entry Island is a stereotypical murder/thriller novel with the expected twists in the plot-line. I loved that the history between the Hebrides islands and Cananda, was mentioned throughout the book also making the plotline a little more interesting, that ultimately tied the whole story together the end. At first relating 18th century with modern day did confuse me, as the book became a little jumpy, but it does make a lot more sense on reflection!
Peter May has a trilogy of books based on the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, the Lewis trilogy. All 3 books are going to be read soon.
